About
How it all began....
Whilst on a philanthropic mission to Papua New Guinea (PNG), Dr Marc Coughlan - a highly experienced neurosurgeon - witnessed first hand the dire situation. Still very much a developing country the people of PNG often faced poor and inadequate healthcare and medical facilities. Something had to be done.
Dr Coughlan quickly recognised the immediate need and solutions that could save the lives of many children and young adults in PNG. This realisation led to the establishment of PNG Angels.
Since inception, we have completed many PNG Angels missions, where our volunteer team of surgeons, nurses and other medical personnel have conducted essential surgeries for those in need.
